From the 70s to today: The story of City2
For many Danes, City2 is part of our history. City2 was built in 1975 as one of the very first Danish shopping centres, and was modelled on American malls.
Since then, the centre has been refashioned and modernised several times – most recently in 2014 when its sister site, Copenhagen Designer Outlet, was established in connection with City2.
