SlotsArkaderne i Hillerød

As the name suggests, SlotsArkaderne is a shopping centre with an arcade layout. The centre is built into – and beneath – the pedestrian street in Hillerød. It is fully integrated into the city’s central shopping area.

The shopping centre has maintained a solid market position for many years and has also achieved significant growth in terms of customer numbers and revenue. Its success is partly due to a strong combination of fashion stores and brands, with a Bilka hypermarket at the centre.

SlotsArkadernes’ royal-sounding name (in English “The Castle Arcades”) is a reference to Frederiksborg Castle, which is also located in Hillerød. Built by King Frederik II, the castle is classified as a Royal Castle.
