Lyngby Storcenter

Lyngby Storcenter has undergone constant development. The large regional shopping centre is located in the heart of  Kongens Lyngby, north of Copenhagen, which is one of the most affluent neighbourhoods in Denmark. Lyngby Storcenter’s customers are a demanding – but also affluent – audience.

The centre is very well-established in the market. Customer purchasing power and a large geographical catchment area mean that the centre commands one of the highest measured revenue-per-square-metre figures for a shopping centre in Denmark. The selection of shops is a good blend of strong international and national brands, combined with many coffee shops and food outlets and a bona fide food court offering superb quality food products.

The shopping centre is housed in the same building complex as the town’s largest hotel and there is a very large two-store underground car park directly below the centre. From the centre and its underground car park, there is easy access to several large shops and a cultural centre with a cinema just across the street.

In 2018, most of the centre’s first floor underwent an ambitious redevelopment to make room for four large new anchor stores.

50th anniversary of Lyngby Storcenter

In 2023, Lyngby Storcenter and its regular customers will celebrate its 50th anniversary. The focus will be on the regulars who have been here since the beginning in 1973 and who have therefore played a part in the centre’s 50-year history.

It is thanks to them that Lyngby Storcenter has been one of  Kongens Lyngby’s best places to meet for so many years. To celebrate the anniversary, Lyngby Storcenter will offer a full programme of exciting entertainment, activities, competitions and lots more.
